After more than two decades of tattooing, owning a shop, earning awards, being published, exhibiting in museums and galleries, travelling to incredible places, collaborating with inspiring artists, and mentoring the next generation, it’s time to close this chapter of my story.

I’m no longer accepting new tattoo requests, and I’ll officially retire from tattooing at the end of 2025.

This decision comes with a full heart. Tattooing has given me everything - purpose, friendship, creativity, and the honour of being trusted with your stories. I’ve poured myself into this craft, and I’m deeply grateful to every person who sat in my chair over the years. Whether you came in for your first tattoo, entrusted me with a tribute piece, or sent kind words from afar - thank you. It has meant everything to me.

Now it’s time for a new season. My family and I are relocating to Vancouver Island, BC, where we’ll be planting new roots and embracing a different kind of adventure. It’s a big shift, but it feels right. I carry all the memories, lessons, and relationships from this chapter with me as I step into what’s next.

THANKS TO ALL WHO HAVE BEEN A PART OF THIS JOURNEY.

WITH LOVE AND RESPECT,
JOHN GARANCHESKI III
